The Brief:

Black-out & Dim-out Shades:

The Solution:

Due to the minimalist, clutter-free intention of the project, it was quickly decided that all equipment should be centralised.

Challenges:

Hub Location: Located on the top-floor and a general sun-trap, a cooling solution needed to be devised for the main equipment racks.

Lighting: Located within the roof-structure, this created some interesting shapes and consequent angles to approach the lighting design.

1st Fix: Although the apartment was not a total blank canvas, extensive refurbishmens were underway, therefore allowing us the scope to 'surgically' install a comprehensive infrastructure throughout. Patching-up was performed by the decorator, and looked better than it did before.

Logistics: Due to the busy city-centre location, limited parking and several flights of stairs, We worked flexibly with the client & building manager, to ensure minimal disruption & 'bad vibes' to other tenants. This meant sometimes working outside of the usual 9-5, and carrying tools miles from the car-park, but it's all part of the service!

Client Feedback:
"blah blah"
